Dear Fellow Alumni, Supporters and Friends of Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International (CAAAI):

It is with profound gratitude and excitement that I have this opportunity to serve, once again, as the CEO of this august Association. In these uncertain times, it is reassuring to know that the Executive Board of Directors is dedicated to growing stronger, being vibrant and staying connected to you, our lifeblood.

Being a member of the CAAAI family comes with an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude for the values and educational foundation we gained from our illustrious principal, Mr. Robert A. Pinkerton. We endeavor to perpetuate his legacy by being serving leaders and supporting the Nehemiah Comprehensive School, in Georgetown. The institution is led by our former teacher and 2012 Honoree, Mrs. Yvonne Zebeeda Osman.

We’ve missed seeing you since our last Biennial Reunion in 2018 and enjoying your participation in our mission. However, in the spirit of ‘giving back,’ we were proud to financially support Nehemiah Comprehensive School with a check for G$500,000. in 2019. As you are aware, Reunion 2020 was cancelled because of the pandemic but the purpose for our existence has not changed.

The only way to have a successful Association is to engage your help. Your voice and actions matter, and I invite you to join us in the exciting journey we have ahead. In order to remain connected and chart your course of engagement, you are encouraged to do the following:

  1. Join CAAAI with a Membership due of only $50. per year or you may choose to be a Supporter for $100. annually or a Patron at $250. annually. You may visit the website at caaai.org to complete the Membership Application.
  2. Share articles/stories of your personal or professional successes for communication in monthly newsletters. We also welcome your feedback and guidance on projects and proposed activities.
  3. Volunteer to lend your expertise on any Sub-committee of the Association.
  4. Stay connected through the Website, Facebook, E-mail or any member of CAAAI’s Executive Board.

Thank you in advance for your support as collectively, we accomplish our purpose. May you and your family stay safe and remain in good health.

Sincerely,

Desiree DeFlorimonte, Ph.D.
