CAAAI Mourns The Passing of Ms. Cicely Grant

It is with deep sadness and a sense of loss, that we announce the passing of our alumni sister Cicely Grant. Cicely, who attended Cambridge Academy High School in Georgetown Guyana, went on to be with our Lord on March 31, 2026. She is the sister of former Cambridge Academy teacher Ms. Lynette Grant-Douglas, sister-in-law of Dr. Frank L Douglas, PhD., MD, and elder sister of Eslyn Grant who also attended Cambridge.
A Celebration of Life SERVICE will be held for her from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, on Thursday April 16. 2026 at the Good Tidings Gospel Chapel, 345 Malcolm X Blvd, Brooklyn NY 11233. INTERNMENT at the Evergreens Cemetery, with a REPAST from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Good Tidings Gospel Chapel.

Our hearts go out to the Grant family, relatives, and friends. We know that no words could fill the void we all feel, but we also know that our Almighty God is both willing and able to lift us out of darkness into the light.
