  • A Special Father's Day Message From CAAAI'S Newly Formed Men's Health Club Photo of Dr. Aubrey F. Bentham

On this Father's Day weekend and Father's Day in particular, your CAAAI's newly formed Men's Health Club (MHC) takes this opportunity to extend father's day greetings to all of our alums, their families, friends and supporters.

Amidst the ribbons and beautifully wrapped gifts intended for Daddies and Grandpas, and the sumptuous meals made with love especially for the patriarch of the household, we offer another focus today. 'Society Without The Father', a book written by Alexander Mitscherlich, in which its author ties the complex relationship between the loss of fatherhood to the enigmas created mostly by the Industrial Revolution, steel mills and chemical factories. Unlike today, we are losing dads to known diseases, infections, and chronic illnesses, some of which can be avoided or cured.

Dr. Douglas explained further that the feeling of imperiousness and arrogance that oftentimes accompany so called superior languages, required the dismissal of the barrier that supported that form of disparity - he decided to learn and master the entire German language, and he did.
