Winifred Euphemia Doris Sr. Sadly Passed Away On March 27, 2021 in New York

The family of Winifred Euphemia Doris Sr. (born July 3, 1927) sadly announces her death on March 27, 2021 in New York.

A viewing will be held on Thursday April 15 at Benta’s Funeral Home at 630 St. Nicholas Avenue, New York 10030 between 2:00 – 4:00 PM.

Family and close friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday April 16, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 110-06 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375.

Instead of flowers, our family encourages donations to the Winifred Euphemia Doris Sr. Scholarship Fund that is being established at St. Charles Borromeo School in Harlem to honor her lifelong vocation as an educator.

Due to the social distancing requirements imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, we will not have a luncheon following the ceremony. We ask that you confirm your attendance to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

There will also be a public memorial service after Covid-19 restrictions are removed to allow her larger circle of friends and former students to share in the celebration of her life. We will share those details with you soonest possible.
