Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International is proud to celebrate the success and achievement of one of its member-supporters Ms. Salome Osborne, whose dedication to a strong educational foundation and learning opportunities for children in Guyana, reached another rewarding high-point at a recent graduation ceremony on the West Bank of Demerara. Ms. Osborne has redefined the term 'giving back' in every practical way through her life-long commitment to the youth in her Guyanese hometown and community.
Ms. Osborne is the CEO of Greenlight Guyana Educational Project Incorporated, a New York based non-profit entity which she founded in 2006. Her innovative and sustainable leadership overtime has provided tangible support for academic endeavors for hundreds of young children in Guyana which includes books, magazines, school supplies, uniforms, socks, shoes, backpacks, locks, bolts, iron grilles and other security items.
CAAAI is also proud to mention that Salome was our association's 2010 Robert A. Pinkerton Award honoree for Outstanding Community Service. The Executive Board and all Alumni Members enthusiastically extend our congratulations to our friend and sister, as we continue to support Ms. Osborne in all of her endeavors to effectively improve the quality of primary school education for our precious children of Guyana.
