Gifted Hands Students and Principal (Center of Collage) displaying Easter Hats, Baskets, and Snacks Donated by CAAAI.
Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International was pleased to participate in the planned Easter festivities held at our Partnership School this April in Georgetown, Guyana. The Education Committee was further enthused to learn that Gifted Hands was also celebrating its thirteenth anniversary as a school dedicated to 'differently skilled' children and adults.
In two recent chat correspondences, Principal and Founder Marcia Smith stated, "As we approach the end of the Easter Term, we embrace the spirit of Easter in our own unique way. Engaging students in the story of Jesus allows them to connect with the essence of the celebration while fostering joy and inclusivity. Easter can be a meaningful and enjoyable experience for all children, regardless of their abilities. So, we embrace a variety of sensory-friendly and accessible Easter activities designed to encourage social engagement, creativity, and fun. Our activities ensure that every child can participate, learn, and celebrate Easter in a way that best suits their needs."
Regarding CAAAI's donation to the event, Ms. Smith further stated, "To the Executive Board and the Education Committee, your belief in my vision has been a beacon of encouragement. I am deeply thankful for your trust and your collaboration. Your contributions have been invaluable, thank you for standing with us."
Please join the Executive Board and the entire Alumni Body in congratulating Ms. Marcia and all of the Students at Gifted Hands Learning Centre for Special Needs, for 13 successful years, and thank God for more success in the future.
