It is with deep sadness and a sense of loss, that we announce the passing of our friend, member, and loyal supporter of the Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International. Maurice, a graduate of the Class of 62, was among the few outstanding students in the early days of our high school, who laid a good foundation for many of us who came after him to follow and emulate.
Maurice and his family resided in NW Washington DC. He leaves behind his spouse Delores Benn, nee Johnson, who also attended Cambridge Academy. The ‘Celebration of Life’ service for Maurice S. Benn will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024 at 11;00 am at Emory Fellowship, 6100 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington DC 20011.
