Dear CAAAI Alumni, Supporters, Friends, and Well-wishers
Our 2016 Alumni Reunion Ball has slipped into Cambridge Academy’s history book, and I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of our CEO, and the CAAAI Executive Board to thank each and every one of you for attending and supporting this important biennial event. As oftentimes stated, our success as an association, is credited mainly to your generosity and willingness to participate in our events; …and, wasn’t it FUN?
We are encouraged by the positive feedback we already received from many who attended the reunion in Queens, NY on Saturday, July 16. To those of you who were unable to join the hundreds at this year’s event, please know that you were truly missed and we are already looking forward to seeing you at Reunion 2018.
This reunion offered us another opportunity to see old friends and rekindle acquaintances. Among the many highlights marking this year’s gala were the Robert A. Pinkerton Award presentations for Humanities, Community Service, and Excellence in Education; accompanied by fine dining, laughter and dancing into the early morning.
This is your Cambridge Academy Alumni at work and at its best. With your continued support at and between reunions we will be able to honor our educational commitments to our adopted schools in Guyana. Remember to ‘keep the Cambridge Clock Ticking’ in your hearts, and to pray for your CAAAI. Again I humbly thank each and every one of you for your support, and may God richly bless you all!
Respectfully yours,
Aubrey
