From its rejuvenation in 2008, the Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International Board of Executives, has had the privilege and honor of serving its membership body alongside the unique quality of leadership found in Dr. Frank L. Douglas as one of three permanently appointed advisors to the Board. Dr. Frank, as he is fondly referred to in caucus, needs no introduction to our readership, as he is firstly Guyanese, has been our teacher at Cambridge Academy, a recipient of the highest scholastic eminence, fluent in the German language, recognized globally for his leadership and brilliant contributions to the complexed world of science, biomedical research, and pharmaceutical medicine. In 2010, Dr. Frank Douglas was a recipient of the prestigious Robert A. Pinkerton award, and in 2019 he penned his memoirs entitled - ‘Defining Moments of a Free Man from a Black Stream’.
Dr. Frank Douglas, himself, is no stranger to philanthropy, as over the years he has made robust financial contributions to CAAAI to seed our fundraising events and assist us in achieving our goals and objectives. His love and respect for the Founder-Principal of Cambridge Academy High School the late Robert A. Pinkerton, coupled with the fundamental purpose of our Alumni Association, added to the Christian partnership we developed with Nehemiah Comprehensive School, triangulated into his most recent act of generosity and ‘giving back’, in the way this humble Caesarion scholar knows best, with pious humility, and self-effacement.
The CEO, Dr. Desiree DeFlorimonte, the Executive and Advisory Boards, the Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International (CAAAI) membership body, conjoined with the Nehemiah Comprehensive School of Georgetown, Guyana, wish to acknowledge and express our profound gratitude to Dr. Frank Douglas for his selfless generosity and big-heartedness, that will tremendously assist our partnership school in providing a Christian education for young Guyanese students, and mirror the legacy of Robert A. Pinkerton.

Sincerely yours,
Dr. Aubrey F. Bentham, President CAAAI
