Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International (CAAAI) congratulates Dr. Frank Lennox Douglas on his most recent prestigious achievement, - PERMANENCY IN THE HISTORY MAKERS COLLECTION OF THE UNITED STATES LIBRARY OF CONGRESS.
The accompanying statement affixed to the names of the 13th Librarian of Congress, the Acting Librarian of Congress, and the Founder and President of the History Makers, extrapolates as follows - "The History Makers archive provides invaluable first-person accounts of both well-known and unsung African-Americans, detailing their hopes, dreams and accomplishments, often in the face of adversity. This culturally important collection is a rich and perse resource for scholars, teachers, students and documentarians seeking a more complete record of our nation's history and its people."
Dr. Douglas who is a former instructor at Cambridge Academy High School, Georgetown Guyana (defunct), a current member of its Alumni Advisory Board; also the author of several books, and recipient of the CAAAI 2010 Robert A. Pinkerton Award for Humanitarian Services, courts a curriculum vitae that depicts a lifespan of accolades, awards, and professional recognitions to include captaincy of multi-national corporations and institutions in medicine and pharmaceutical enterprises; Lead Professorship roles in many distinguished academic environments.
