Happy Thanksgivings To The Cambridge Family

Dr. Aubrey F. Bentham, President CAAAI

Dear Fellow Cambridge Alumni,

Once again it is Thanksgiving, a time for reflecting on the many things or events that we are grateful for. Whether our lives are represented by abundance or its basic necessities, we can all be thankful for having those things that sustain us each and every day such as our families, friends, food, shelter, clothing, and hopefulness.

One year ago, our Cambridge family lost its patriarch Principal Robert A. Pinkerton, who taught us that among these sustainables should be a good education, and directly from this fundamental alone we became productive people in a broad spectrum of jobs, careers, and professions in Guyana, the U.S., and around the world; therefore, this Thanksgiving we pause to remember ‘Pinky’ and add him to our list of people for whom we are thankful.

Year 2014 has been a successful year for your CAAAI. We hosted a dynamic Cambridge Reunion celebration punctuated with ‘Funbridge’ gala events, secured one of Guyana’s highest national awards – The Golden Arrowhead for our late Principal, held elections for office bearers, among other important activities during the calendar year. But most of all, Dr. Desiree DeFlorimonte our charismatic CEO, and all members of the Executive Board are thankful for you, the membership body, because it is through your support, patronage, activism, and prayers we are able to make charitable educational contributions to our partnership schools in Guyana, and to local communities.

The lead-servants of your association wish you all a Very Happy 2014 Thanksgiving, as we rededicate ourselves to serving you, thanking you for your support, and looking forward to an even more fulfilling relationship in our future. Keep the Cambridge clock ticking, and may God continue to delight in your prosperity.
