The Executive Board Members of Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International (CAAAI) and the membership body, mourn the passing of our dear sister Marcia Priyadarshani Gordon, who went on to be with the Lord on February 12, 2024. During her 35-years on earth, sister Marcia remains one of the most remarkable and selfless young-adults you ever had the pleasure of meeting Most people have referred to her as an ‘Angel’ among us; always adorned with a jubilant smile, a warm-hearted greeting, and genuine concern for the wellbeing of others, while calling no attention to her own pathology.
We share our bereavement with Sister Lorna Welshman Neblett our Membership Chair, for whom Marcia is a very personal loss. For eight years, Lorna kind-heartedly and graciously welcomed Marcia and her mom Alex, into her home where friendship turned into a loving family, and where Lorna in the role of a Good Samaritan journeyed with Marcia throughout her joys and pains.
CAAAI was blessed to have Marcia frequently play integral parts at our Prayer Warrior Meetings. She also served admirably at the Sip and Chat event, in 2021 with her informative and enjoyable activity. She is missed but will always remain in our hearts. Marcia fought the good fight, and valiantly finished the course. May she rest in Eternal Peace!
Our continued prayers are that God will give comfort and strength to Lorna, Alex, and all of Marcia’s family and friends during this time of bereavement.
